Mark at the Little League Western Region Tournament in San Berbardino, CA
Mark Lane starting taking action photos with a friend in the summer of 2006, and Mark Lane started Mark Lane Photo in September 2006 with taking "action" photos for Shadow Mountain HIgh School. Since then, Mark has expanded to a number of high schools, all of the Phoenix Gymnastics Academy hosted meets and from 2007 to 2009 was Official Little League Western Region Action Photogrpahers held in August in San Bernardino. While working as a photographer, this allows Mark to be involved with the community. Mark has been involved with Little League Baseball as a coach, board member, Assisstant Dustrict Administrator and, since 2006, Mark has been the Disrict Administrator for Arizona Distric Three Little League. His role as District Administrator is to oversee 15 local Little League Baseball and Softball programs from Anthem to South Mountain.
Mark has also voluntered to serve on the Eagle Ridge School Site Council and as a Representative for Eagle Ridge on the PVUSD United Parent Council. With United Parent Council, Mark served as Treasurer for two years, co-chaired many UPC Committees and served as the Parent Representative on numerous school district committees.
In November 2010, Mark successfully ran for a position on the Paradise Valley Unified School District Governing Board and took office in January 2011.
There are a number of people who help through the year. A number of the photographers used are current students or former graduates of Shadow Mountain High School. Mark's family, his wife Debbie, daughter Kelsie also fills in to help.
