Mark Lane starting taking action photos with a friend in the summer of 2006, and Mark Lane started Mark Lane Photo in September 2006 with taking "action" photos for Shadow Mountain HIgh School. Since then, Mark has expanded to a number of high schools, all of the Phoenix Gymnastics Academy hosted meets and since 2007 is one of the Official Little League Western Region Action Photogrpahers held in August in San Bernardino.
While not taking photos, Mark is an active volunteer as the District Administrator for Arizona District Three Little League in Phoenix, the Eagle Ridge School Site Council and Paradise Valley Unified School District's United Parent Council.
There are a number of people who help through the year. A number of the photographers used are current students or former graduates of Shadow Mountain High School. Mark's family, his wife Debbie, daughters Kelsie, Jennie and Katie also fill in to help.
